Dieter Koschina and Vila Joya was voted no. 37 at the World's 50 Best Restaurants awards sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna in 2013. That makes it a great leap from last year's 45th position.
The World's 50 Best list is compiled each year to determine which restaurant of the Best Chefs in the World can be considered among the World’s 50 Best Restaurants.

Reed Media.
The list is created from The Diners Club® World’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy, a group of over 900 international leaders in the restaurant industry, each selected for their expert opinion of the international restaurant scene.
Joan Roca's El Celler de Can Roca in Girona, Spain was voted World's Best restaurant in 2013 and Roca will also be performing his magic at the International Gourmet festival at Vila Joya in November this year.
